Initiatives

There are a myriad of organizations out there that work everyday to make the world a better place, but many often lack the resources to create high-quality videos. We fill that gap by providing free video production to help them create powerful content and share their contribution to the world.

We create films about those in need that often don’t have a voice. Our current project was 11 years in the making. The Invisible Class tells the story of what it means to be homeless in the richest country in the world. It’s the first documentary to look at the systemic causes that created mass homelessness in The United States and perpetuate it to this day.

We take pride in making videos for awesome organizations in need, but we also know that is even more empowering to teach people to create their own professional art and media. That’s why we teach video production for free. We also understand that a lot of aspiring filmmakers don’t have the access to equipment to experiment and learn on. That’s why we’re currently creating a Production Gear Lending & Donation Library.

At Visual Anarchy we believe that the best way to teach is by learning. So we created our podcast Rack Focus where we interview established Cinematographers, Directors, Producers, Costume Designers, and more to talk shop about movies and tv. These are technical conversations with the people that create the art that we watch on a daily basis.
