The Story of Homelessness in america

The First Documentary That Looks at the Systemic Causes That Created Homelessness in The United States.

The journey began in 2008 when Visual Anarchy spent 18 months traveling around America doing research on poverty and homelessness. We reached out to homeless service providers, people experiencing homelessness, city officials, political pundits, emergency service personal, and more, to learn and hear as many perspectives as we could. We learned that the homeless community was missing a film that explained the systemic causes that created mass homelessness and continue to perpetuate it to this day. So we spent the next 9 1/2 years making a documentary film that did.

Starting in the Summer of 2019 we began our Community Screening and Resource Donation program. While it’s important to educate audiences, we also felt it was important to go a step further. Each Community Screening generates donations of food, clothing, hygiene kits, volunteers, and more for homeless organizations across The United States.

Homelessness can be solved. If you’re interested in hosting the film or joining our mailing list, please reach out to us below!
